Introduction
I am a Mathematical Biologist and Applied Mathematician, with interests in broad areas, tissue dynamics, immune system dynamics, and developing efficient simulation methods.
Academic positions
-
July 2025 - Present:
I am currently a Research Fellow at The University of Melbourne, working with A/Prof. James Osborne on developing realistic individual based models in the context of tissue dynamics. -
January 2024 - April 2025:
I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of Sydney, with Prof. Peter Kim, Prof. Federico Frascoli (Swinburne University of Technology) and A/Prof. Robyn Araujo (The University of Melbourne) and focusing on mathematical modelling of immune responses, focusing on the interactions between T cells and Dendritic cells. -
July 2023 - December 2023:
I had a short Research Associate position at The University of Melbourne, working with Prof. Jennifer Flegg on developing hybrid stochastic-deterministic compartmental systems. -
February 2019 - April 2023:
I was a PhD student at The University of Melbourne, working with Prof. Edmund Crampin, Dr Stuart Johnston and A/Prof. James Osborne. My thesis was titled "The mathematics of individual-based modelling: developing a realistic model of simple epithelial tissue".
